Partnering with the New York City Board of Education
in Region 10, Carmel Hill funds and guides the implementation
of Accelerated Reader in 30 public schools (19 elementary,
11 middle). These schools serve 13,000 students
in Harlem and Washington Heights. Carmel Hill also
supports three private schools and three KIPP charter
schools in New York.
